Mini Cake
My mom made a cake and she said that I could have the leftover pieces to make a mini cake that she cut off to level the cake. I took those cake pieces and I crumbled them into tiny bits. I mixed them with frosting and shaped them, by putting them into 2 cups lined with plastic wrap.
Next, I put my "cakes" into the freezer for a little bit. When they were firm, I took them out and frosted them together. I also put a crumb coat on the outside. Back in the freezer for a couple hours.
The last part was the fun part- decorating!! Here's my finished product. A cute mini cake. Of course, I used my cake stands and it looked great.
This is something young kids can do all by themselves. I hope you make this and enjoy it!

Simple Mini Cake Stands DIY
This is a simple mini cake stand that took me only about 5 min to make.
I just taped a plastic cup to a cardboard disc and covered it with tin foil.
Next time I will post my mini cake to go with my cake stand.
This mini cake stand goes really well with fancy looking cakes because it's plain, but it will help your cake stand out more.

Yarn People (DIY)
Behold, my latest creation-yarn people! These guys are so fun to make. I just wrap yarn around a popsicle stick and glue the ends down. Pipe cleaner arms and stands, googly eyes and hairstyles made out of yarn. You can glue all of this using a hot glue gun.
Awww look, they're holding hands. Where's Freddy going?
He's climbing a tree.
Yarn people are fun to make. You can make a whole village of your own. Enjoy!

Easy Mother's Day Breakfast (video tutorial)
I hope you enjoy my easy Mother's Day breakfast recipe. You can go ahead and add your own extras to this afterwards. The nice thing about this breakfast is that the only cooking is using the toaster.
The ingredients are; granola, buttered toast, powdered sugar, and raisins. I added orange juice to mine, but you can use your mother's favorite drink.
If you have any more ideas of an easy Mother's Day breakfast, or any pictures, please post it in the comments. I would love to see it!

Mother's Day window card (craft)
I made a Mother's Day window card craft using tape, paper, and markers. Here's a picture of two different types that I made.
Fold your paper in half. Cut a rectangle (window) in the front of your card. With the card closed, write Mom or Mother in the hole. Open the card and place tape (sticky side down) over the window.
Close the card and place tape sticky side down over the other side of the window.
Before putting the second piece of tape on, you can add little cutouts to the window. Make sure that the word mom doesn't get covered. You can decorate the front however you like.
The last step is to write a message inside the card that will not show through the window.
I hope try this Mother's Day window card craft. I'm going to give this to my mom with a gift.
